Conference Weekend

My dad came in for Conference weekend from Wisconsin. I was delighted to have him visit. We planned lots of fun things to do. He was able to visit his 2nd cousin, Heinz Steinmann and Heinz's son, Andreas, who is a physics professor at the University of Utah (yes I am related to someone who is a Ute....actually I know a lot of really nice Utes:)). We traveled to Logan Friday night to see the BYU vs. USU game. Saturday and Sunday we had the opportunity to attend the 178th Semi-annual General Conference sessions, which was such a learning and spiritual experience. Thanks for coming Dad! Above is my Aunt Geniel and cousin Suzannah.
Dad, me, Kelsey and Ken after the Sunday afternoon session. Notice the SLC Temple. Perfect picture.
BYU vs. Utah State football game at the Romney Stadium. They have the same school colors, but we are the white team at this game. Also, we won!
Me, Dad, Kelsey, and Ken.
Kelsey and I.
Kelsey and Ken. Kelsey loves to make crazy faces in pictures.
My dad attended BYU for his undergraduate degree in Economics (1977- 1980). He is a HUGE BYU football fan. As we left the game, we got a picture of him in front of one of BYU's busses. My dad is the #1 man in my life. I love you Dad!

The Family

Ruth, Lisa, Mom, Dad, Peter, Kelsey, and Ken
(Joe, Carrie, and Sawyer are missing)

This picture was actually taken from my sister and brother-in-law's blog. It was such a fun picture that it must be included. Taken during August of 2007, we were in Los Olivos, California for the second wedding reception for Kelsey and Ken. We were on a stroll around their beautiful town and decided to take some pictures. This is as crazy as we get. It has been fun to see the family grow. In the past 4 years we have had four additions to the family (Carrie, Ken, Sawyer, and another baby coming as well), expanding from seven to eleven!! Love it. If you want to see the family picture closer up and enlarged, see the blog link labeled Ken and Kelsey.
